7 3/4 VINTAGE 9K YG 17x13 SOLID AUSTRALIAN PEACOCK ANDAMOOKA BLACK OPAL Ring

Recently marked down.
The 2nd to last pic was taken in minimal natural lighting on a cloudy day to give you an idea what the opal will look like without direct light.
Please note that this ring can be resized by a good jeweler (staying within the range of up or down one size is usually best) and keep in mind that the hand display fingers are slender.
*** Andamookas are often called sugar treated opals after the treatment that may be needed to bring out their fire. This is a wonderful, bezel set vintage Andamooka. ***
This beautiful Andamooka black opal has a wonderful blue-green color.  It is a nice size at 17x13mm, with a nice dome to the stone.  The ring is a size 7 3/4 (yellow gold), the setting is approx. 3/4" x 5/8".
It is in excellent vintage condition and guaranteed 9k gold with a faint British hallmark. (weight 5.1g)
